Master Plan that was displayed at the memorial dedication for the Diamond Lakes
Regional Park/Augusta International Raceway Complex.  The 3 mile road course will
remain intact and be developed into a walking and biking trail.
Glenn "Fireball" Roberts would win

Weatherly, Billy Wade, Larry
Thomas, Ken Miles and Jimmy
Pardue will always be remembered
with the placement of this
monument on September 11, 2004.  
It should not have taken 40 years to
remember these drivers!

NASCAR great Frank Warren (400 Winston Cup/Grand National starts)
visits the Augusta International Raceway Memorial.
Initial Phase dedicated September 2004.  The Second Phase dedicated in September 2005.  Third
phase in September  2006. Fourth phase dedicated September 2007!  New Memorial bench
placements in "Children's Outdoor Learning Area" will be dedicated September 13, 2008!
